WAGNER AG


We have been in dialogue with WAGNER AG since 2019. We are happy that the first Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) between WAGNER AG and syndicom has become effective on 1 April 2021. WAGNER AG is thus fulfilling its responsibility as an employer and is setting an important example in the IT industry.

The CLA contains a binding framework for wages, working hours and holidays as well as maternity and paternity leave. It also allows for trust-based working time, thus ensuring a regulated flexibility.

 

This is what the CLA WAGNER offers in comparison to the law

WAGNER AG employees benefit from the following improvements compared to the legal provisions

  • 42-hours week (law: 45 hours)
  • 5 to 6 weeks holiday (law: 4 weeks)
  • Maternity leave: 14 weeks with 100% pay (law: 80% pay)
  • Paternity leave: 2 weeks with 100% pay (law: 80% pay)
  • Regulated loyalty bonuses
  • Annual wage negotiations and minimum wage of CHF 65,000 per year
  • Entitlement to up to 8 days paid leave per calendar year for exercising a trade union function

Shaping the future with syndicom

No other industry is changing as rapidly as the IT industry. However, innovation requires suitable working structures and conditions. Strong Collective Labour Agreements are crucial to ensure that workers in the IT industry can also benefit from the positive aspects of technological transformation. It is syndicom's task to further develop the CLA together with the employees and in their interest thus ensuring that the pay and working conditions defined by the CLA are complied with. In order to continue to shape the world of work in favour of the employees in the future, a strong trade union with active members is indispensable.
